Creating modern spaces where people can truly feel at home.
This past year marked a significant milestone for Shoreham with the groundbreaking ceremony for our new long-term care community, scheduled to open in 2027. The new build will increase capacity from 89 to 96 beds and create a modern environment designed around resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
While planning for the future, ongoing investment in our current facility continued. Renovations and upgrades throughout the year focused on safety, comfort, and the living environment, including infrastructure improvements identified through emergency response work. The flood response in February also created an opportunity to rebuild affected areas with input from Shoreham’s IPAC and infrastructure teams to support resident safety on return.
Detailed move planning is now underway to ensure a safe, well-coordinated transition for residents, families, and staff when the time comes. The work ahead is significant, and the foundation is strong.
